Red Bridal Lehenga with Gold Elephant Lariyan & Pearl-Bel Sweetheart Blouse

A classic red bridal lehenga with a playful, royal touch. From the waist down hang rows of gold zari lariyan — strings of little haathi (elephant) and chhatri / jhoomar motifs at different lengths, like hanging latkans — on deep red raw silk. The full-flare skirt finishes in a wide hem worked with layered gold zari bands and leaf and tree motifs, with a scalloped edge.

The blouse has a soft sweetheart neckline and is covered in a delicate pearl and gold-flower bel, with a crossover band under the cups, elbow-length embroidered sleeves and a row of red bead tassels along the hem. The back is a deep open back with a lattice border, a red dori and bead fringe. It comes with a red net dupatta with small gold buttis and a scalloped zari border.
